OMTA: Excellence in Music Education
for both Teachers and Students

Welcome to the Omaha Music Teachers Association, (OMTA), Website. The organization was established in 1930 and merged with Private Music Instructors in 2000. OMTA has a membership of over 100 qualified and experienced teachers. The average teaching experience is 20 years. Forty percent of our teachers have earned their bachelor's degree in Music. Thirty percent of those have gone on to complete their Masters and Doctoral programs. We offer private and group lessons in all major instrument categories.
